Every year our church Board of Directors prayerfully considers how we can impact the community near us, around us, and beyond us.
Our church is committed to investing at least 10% of our regular tithes and offerings to making a difference in our community.
These funds are distributed to our mission partners. Offerings can directly go to our missions fund.
assemblies of god missions
We support and give to the Assemblies of God, Michigan District, which in turn gives and supports world missions through their Speed the Light Missions program. This program provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and over 180 countries around the world. To assist missionaries to travel faster, preach clearer, and be heard louder in order for all to know Jesus.
Westwood is a highly regarded public K-5 school right next door to our church, serving more than 500 students. It is one of three elementary schools nestled in Warren Woods school district. In 2018, The Life Church purchased more than $3,000 in new books for the school’s reading program. In 2019, the church donated to help purchase new laptops for their fifth-grade classes. We also deliver gifts and resources for the teachers.
cfl kid's camp
Vision HOPE is involved in programs of serving our local communities, with a special emphasis on helping abused, abandoned, and neglected children to experience hope and love, which have been non-existent in their lives. This is particularly well accomplished through the delivery of our services at Champions for Life Kids’ Camp. Many of our members dedicate a day or an entire week to volunteering during the weeks that the camp is open. This is on top of donations to the organization through The Life Church.

Our church houses the leadership team and efforts of InterVarsity of the Macomb Community College.
Their mission is: to give to reach every corner of every campus. Spiritual Formation & Prayer in InterVarsity works to advance spiritual development, so that we continually deepen our relationship with God. This enables us to center our ministry in our love for and response to God and join with him as he reaches out to transform students, faculty, collegiate staff and the campus. All this for God’s Kingdom and his glory.
